alaskamiller: Skittles updated their homepage. It’s now simply a Twitter search page with skittles as the keyword. Clicking on video now takes you to their YouTube page while pictures will take you to their Flickr account and products now simply go to the relevant Wikipedia entries. This is fucking genius. The game? It has changed.
Whatever. Candy companies were 100 times cooler when all we expected of their homepages was sweet (ha) candy-themed games. Like putt-putt, but with Life Savers. Can Twitter keywords allow me to bank my first putt off a wall, into a floating strawberry cream candy, and then — if I timed it just perfectly — into the hole, all while I’m supposed to be learning about PhotoShop in my high school computer science lab? I THINK FUCKING NOT.

indeed changed, Chicken Little, it changed a year ago when Modernista! did the exact same thing.
Whatever. Candy companies were 100 times cooler when all we expected of...homepages was...
De-localized website. Interesting.
This is genius. Skittles marketing team, you win one internet.
