15) Rock Band is far better than Guitar Hero. (Though, Guitar Hero: World Tour is pretty much the same thing as Rock Band.)

16) Be brief and simple in your writing. Write too much or too complex, and you’ll lose a reader.

I agree with everything, and in the spirit of retrospection will add but two things:

17) Not having a roommate — even if the lack is created by extraordinarily hurtful circumstances — is pretty great, too.

18) It’s not “friends and family.” Friends are family.
