I’ve just accepted an invitation to speak on one of the sports blogging panels at the Blog World Expo in Vegas next month. I am one part flattered, two parts excited and seven parts terrified.
But it should be fun.
Ryan just told me about this, and I thought he was slightly poking fun at Blog World Expo. It just so happens that he is not.
I can’t think of a more knowledgable person to talk about the state of independent and corporate sports blogging, where it’s going, and why it matters. Big congrats to Ryan.
Coincidentally, I was planning on going to Vegas with friends that weekend anyway, so now I get to both a) Get drunk and gamble and leave all my personal shit in Chicago and b) Treat Blog World Expo like my personal Hunter S. Thompson fulfillment fantasy.
