Stupid Google Buzz Couldn’t Be Worse For Reporters Too
I have no idea if I have completely killed that Google Buzz metavirus nightmare on my Google settings. It’s bad enough that people that you HATE (and/or hate you!) show up automatically as followers or followees—but also there’s people with whom one does business, including LANDLORDS? Yes, of course one wants ONE’S LANDLORD in one’s forcible “social network.” And something that hasn’t been addressed yet, as far as I’ve seen, is the nightmarish inclusion of regularly-emailed reporting sources in Google Buzz. I very well may have published, against my will, a list of people with whom I have regular contact with under an offer of privacy and/or anonymity. That is insane. Now I have no idea if blocking all my hundred+ “followers” and removing all people I’m “following” and deleting my “Google profile” and then finally turning that mess off entirely has removed me from the “BUZZ SYSTEM” but I’m assuming it did. Also, I would like that hour back. And also I would like a pony and someone fired.
