I read this story in an anthology this a.m. and I can’t get it out of my head. Totally random recommendation, but if you have a few moments to spare, it’s greater than great.

Seconded and thirded. Just a tremendous little short story.

For sountracking purposes, cue the Kinks after “Come on, punk.” Now picture them opening the door and walking out of the bathroom in slow motion. Congratulations! You’ve just seen every Wes Anderson closing scene ever.

For the record, this entire story is like a Wes Anderson template minus the self-indulgence. That = good.
